Mumbai: The teaser of the much-awaited film titled Jhund, which stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, has dropped in on Tuesday.
The teaser opens as credits are rolled on the screen with sound effects of shutters being opened which is followed by a narration of senior Bachchan.
As he goes on saying "Jhund nahi kahiye ise sahab, team kahiye team," the camera tracks a group of youngsters from behind, without revealing their identities, as they are seen walking with hockey sticks, chains, cricket bats, bricks and other objects in their hands.

Though the teaser did not feature Bachchan in the video, his impactful narration in the background sufficed.
The movie, helmed by Marathi filmmaker Nagraj Manjule, is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of Slum Soccer. It marks the Bollywood debut of Manjule, who rose to fame with his box-office hit Marathi movie Sairat.
The movie also marks the first collaboration between Big B and Manjule. Bachchan began shooting for the film in December 2018.

The flick is jointly produced by Nagraj, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath and Savita Raj Hiremath.
The forthcoming Nagraj Manjule directorial is slated to hit the theatres on May 8, 2020.
On Monday, the makers had released the first look poster of the film which has garnered positive response from the audience.
