Mumbai: Actor Alia Bhatt on Tuesday put an end to all speculations as she took to social media to address the alleged news of her injury which has been doing rounds on the internet.
Rubbishing all the pieces of information on the internet, Alia wrote: "To all those articles out there saying that I have hurt myself on the sets of my film.. they are NOT true.."
Hopping on to Instagram, the actor clarified saying "this is an old injury that has been acting up for a while and just gave way one day at home... No accident or nothing.. pls pls do clarify next time before printing long long articles on what happened to me..."
The Highway actor further said that she is resuming her shoot for Gangubai Kathiawadi from Tuesday after enjoying complete rest for a few days.
She penned: "Having said that thanks to few days of complete rest and being horizontal I'm back in action and I'm resuming shoot from today!"
Extending gratitude to fans for all the lovely messages, she wrote: "Thank you for all the get well soon messages as I have got well very very soon."

Days back, several articles claimed that the 26-year-old suffered a minor injury on her back as the actor posted a snapshot of her and her pet cat Eddie on Instagram, writing "selfie time with mommy cause she's hurt her back and has nothing better to do at 2 am… Eddie and mommy (2020)."
In the selfie shared by the Highway actor on her on the Insta story, she is seen snuggling within her blanket as her pet Eddie rests by her side.
