Mumbai: Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali who were to unite for Inshallah are still a team as the actor announces she will be working with SLB very soon.
Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has apparently decided to shelve his much-anticipated film Inshallah, featuring superstar Salman Khan and Alia in the lead.
According to reports, SLB had to put the film in the box as he could not alter Inshallah's narrative as suggested by his actors.
"Sanjay Leela Bhansali respects and loves his actors and suggestions are welcome but not if they aim to alter the narrative. Hence, he has taken the decision to shelve the film. However, they are still friends and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has immense love and respect for him," a source close to SLB had said.
The film which was to reunite Salman and SLB after two decades will not see the light of day, but Alia will soon kickstart a new project with the ace filmmaker.

Alia broke the news at recently held IIFA awards during her interaction with the media.
The Raazi actor said that she was looking forward to teaming up with SLB and share screen with Salman but things did not go as per plan.
"I was very excited to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman as well. I believe that sometimes things happen which are not in your control. Plans never really go as per plans but I can give it to you in writing that I am going to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali very soon."
The speculations are rife that Alia was hinting at SLB’s upcoming film on gangster Gangubai Kothewali, who was also known as The Madame Of Kamathipura.
If reports are to be believed, pre-production will commence from mid-October while the Bhansali-led team will take the film on floors in February next year.
Meanwhile, Alia's schedule is lined up with upcoming releases which include her dad Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2, Karan Johar's Takht and Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra.
