Mumbai: Bollywood sensation Alia Bhatt is all set to opt for a no makeup look for her upcoming film 'Sadak 2'.
The actress who has left audiences spellbound with her performances in subsequent films such as 'Udta Punjab', 'Gully Boy' and 'Dear Zindagi' is ready to make her lasting impression once again in the sequel of the 1991 movie 'Sadak'.
The 27-year-old actress has surprised everyone by donning a no makeup look since her character demands the same.
After an extended look test, the team opted to go for a no make-up look for Alia. The actress had earlier donned a similar look in films like 'Highway', 'Udta Punjab' and 'Raazi'.
The film will reportedly feature Alia as the lead who is on a tryst to expose a powerful Godman.
Speaking about Alia's role in the film, a close source recently revealed: “It’s a powerful story which leaves a lot of heavy lifting to be done by Alia. For the first schedule, the actress will don a naked look on her face. For the first few days of the shoot, she was ready in 25 minutes speeding up the work on the shoot. They were, in fact, able to finish a lot more scenes than they hoped for before she left for Brahmastra.”

For the very first time, the 'Raazi' actress will be teaming up with her dad Mahesh Bhatt and sister Pooja Bhatt in the forthcoming film.
The movie, which marks the directorial comeback of Mahesh Bhatt, also stars Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles.
Expected to deliver a superlative performance on screen, the much-awaited film is slated to release on July 10, 2020.
