Why Chandrayaan-2?

Indian lunar Probe Chandrayaan-2, Indian lunar Probe ISRO's biggest mission so far and a giant leap in space programme will aim to explore parts of the Moon which are never done before. Chandrayaan-2 attempts to foster a new age of discovery, increase understanding of space. Chandrayaan-1 was the first Indian lunar probe and was launched on in October 2008.
