Women and girls recite 'Shiva Tandava Stotra' in Varanasi on International Women's Day, at an event organised under the aegis of a Mumbai-based organisation. This was the first time after the COVID-19 lockdown that such a large contingent of pilgrims from Maharashtra took part in any public event in Varanasi. Wearing masks and Covid protection shields, women recited the entire Shiva Tandav Stotram on Assi Ghat and after the mass recitation, the women left for Ganga Aarti darshan.
