Watch: Indian Coast Guard in action averting MT New Diamond mishap

Visakhapatnam: In a viral video, Indian Coast Guard (ICG) can be seen co-ordinating fire fighting operation on 'MT New Diamond' with Sri Lankan forces. ICG spearheaded a perilous fire fighting operation that lasted for over 7 days, creating another maritime history. A major ecological mishap was averted by the joint efforts of ICG, Sri Lankan forces for which four Sri Lankan ships two Indian ships, Pollution Response Vessel and aircraft were pressed into service.
