Drones were used to spray chemicals as swarms of locusts arrived in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. Authorities have deployed drones in an attempt to contain the crop destruction by locusts as experts warned of extensive losses. Authorities have also issued advisories and deployed tractor-mounted sprayers to stop locusts in their tracks in the next couple of weeks to ensure that swarms do not end up devouring summer crops. Swarms of locusts also entered in Rajasthan's Nagaur district on June 30. People clanged utensils to scare them away in Didwana town of Nagaur district.
