Baby sold for Rs 50,000 rescued in Odisha

Cuttack (Odisha): A two and a half-month-old baby girl was allegedly sold by her parents at Kathajodi Vihar slum in Odisha’s Cuttack city last evening. The baby was sold for Rs 50,000 to a family. After a tip-off a team intercepted the family fleeing in a car and rescued the baby. Six people were detained for investigation.
