Gents wear saris on this day and deck up like women. Rati and Kamadeva (India's Cupid) are worshipped on this day. Many people also come here from the state of Karnataka on this day. They believe that if men dress up as women and worship, all their desires will be fulfilled and they believe that the crops will grow well and give a good yield.
