RSS more dangerous than Naxals, says Bastar MLA

Chhattisgarh Congress MLA Deepak Baij on Monday courted controversy saying the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) parent organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is more dangerous than Naxalites in the state. Baij went on to accuse the BJP of misleading tribal communities for protesting against the construction of roads, bridges and camps in southern Bastar. The lawmaker accused former Chattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh for Jhiram valley Naxal attack in which Congress leader Uday Mudaliar was killed.
