Farm laws an option, not imposition, reiterates Piyush Goyal in Lok Sabha

Consumer Affairs Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said that the Food Corporation of India (FCI) procurement is going on as it was earlier and that the three farm laws aren't an imposition, rather are an option for the farmers. Answering BJD's Bhartruhari Mahtab's question in the Lok Sabha's Zero hour today, Goyal said that the minister should try and read about the laws in-depth and understand that the Modi government is working to provide more income to the farmers.
