Speaking to ETV Bharat in Rajasthan's Dausa district, Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait said that the protest will continue for 7-8 more months if the government does not accept farmers' demand. Slamming the government, he said the people of Gujarat are in the "clutches" of the central government and they need to be "freed" from those clutches. He further said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is asking "Ek Muthi Chawal" in West Bengal but cannot give the MSP to farmers. He urged the people to ask the MSP from the BJP in West Bengal.
