Odisha: Pregnant woman carried on sling for 4 kms to reach ambulance

A pregnant woman was carried on a makeshift sling for 4 km after the ambulance failed to reach her village due to poor road connectivity. The incident took place at Samadpadar village in Khadiala block of Nuapada district. The pregnant woman Remati Majhi was carried to the ambulance by her husband Khageshwar Majhi, Asha worker Basanti Majhi and several villagers in a critical condition.
