COVID-19: No transmission through dead bodies, says CCMB Director

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Dr Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Director of CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in Hyderabad, talked extensively on coronavirus pandemic and its spread. He said that the virus spreads from person to person but it doesn't spread through the dead body. He also said that if someone touches the fluid coming out from the dead body then only one will have the chances of getting infected by the COVID-19 virus. He further said that the CCMB is also trying to improve the method of testing to make it more efficient, fast and cheaper.
