Meet Himachal's 'snakeman' who has caught over 500 serpents

When you hear the hiss of a snake around you, it runs down to your spine and you get goosebumps but it doesn't wary even a bit to this 'snakeman' from Himachal Pradesh. Sonu Thakur, a resident of Kullu, has caught a total of 540 serpents till date. Famous for rescuing snakes in his area, Thakur has been rescuing snakes for over 30 years. He has also been awarded for his bravery and commendable work. The most interesting thing is that he doesn't use any tools to catch poisonous snakes. He catches them by his hands and later releases them into their natural habitat.
