Lebanon horrified after Beirut's blast, assesses aftermath

Residents of Beirut woke up to the smoke still rising from the shattered area of the port on Thursday morning after the city experienced a massive blast. The massive explosion in Beirut had sent shock waves to Lebanon which had killed 135 people and left thousands injured. Investigators probing Tuesday's massive explosion focused on possible negligence in the storage of tons of a highly explosive fertilizer in a waterfront warehouse, while the government ordered the house arrest of several port officials.
