Konark Dance Festival 2020 concludes on a high note

Konark: The five-day-long annual Konark Dance Festival 2020 concluded at Konark on Saturday evening. This year the festival saw a series of performances by eminent dancers from different parts of the country. In adherence to the COVID-19 restrictions, the festival was the first such cultural festival to be held in the country during the post lockdown period. In the Open-Air-Auditorium with the famous Sun Temple at the backdrop, the artistes of Odissi and kathak stirred the Souls of the Audience with their serene and scintillating dance recitals. Last night of Odisha Tourism department’s Konark Festival and International Sand Art Festival witnessed Odissi and Kathak dance performance. The sand art festival witnessed creations paying tributes to the Indian Navy on the occasion of Navy Day, besides other creations on COVID awareness, fairs and festivals and the highly anticipated glamping festival of Eco Retreat Odisha.
