Heavy rains wreak havoc in parts of Jammu

Monsoon showers caused heavy damage to the property of people in different parts of Jammu. Rainwater entered over a dozen houses in Qasim Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Bailey Charana and Rajiv Nagar areas of Jammu district due to poor drainage system. Residents of Qasimnagar, speaking to ETV Bharat, said that on the intervening night of July 11 and 12, rainwater entered their homes, damaging goods and household items. They have appealed to the Jammu Municipal Corporation to fix the drainage system.
