Article 370 disconnected Jammu and Kashmir from rest of India: Kavindra Gupta

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavindra Gupta, while talking about District Development Council elections said that Bhartiya Janata Party is working towards bringing development and jobs in the union territory as the former governments in the state mostly ignored the issues faced by the people and rather worked on acquiring properties. He also added that the former governments worked towards creating a rift between different religions as it was good for their vote banks. He also added that article 370 and 35 (A) created hurdles in the development of the state and it was on the agenda of the party to abrogate the articles.
