Floods force villagers into temporary shelters in Assam's Dibrugarh

Around 95 families have been forced to live in temporary shelters after Ranga Mola & Miri villages in Assam's Dibrugarh were washed away in floodwaters from the Brahmaputra river. Locals say they have to live several kilometres away from their houses and they fear their temporary residences would also be washed away. 26 lakh people have been affected due to floods across 26 districts of the state so far.
