First repatriation flight with 151 people from Dubai lands in Odisha

In a video that is making rounds on social media, a special Air India flight from Dubai carrying the first batch of 151 stranded Odia migrants can be seen landing in Bhubaneswar under Vande Bharat Mission. Officials informed that passengers hailing from Khurda, Cuttack, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur and Jajpur districts would leave by bus from the airport. Those from faraway districts such as Bargarh, Balasore and Nayagarh will be accommodated in institutional quarantine centres in Bhubaneswar. Stranded Odias thanked the government authorities for bringing them back to their native land. (With inputs from PTI)
