Festive season likely to surge COVID cases in Telangana: CCMB Director

In an interaction with ETV Bharat, Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB) Director Rakesh Mishra said that Telangana can witness a second COVID-19 wave if people show laxity during the festive season. Talking about recovered people getting re-infected, Mishra said that such cases are rare. He also said that if we go by the history of vaccines, it is difficult to get a vaccine that can provide protection against virus beyond six months.
