Farmers' protest not like Shaheen Bagh stir, says Rakesh Tikait

Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait said the continuing farmers protest against the three central farm laws are not like Shaheen Bagh stir and there will be no 'ghar wapsi' until the laws are repealed. Replying to a query on farmers not adhering to appropriate COVID behaviour, Tikait said, "Who is wearing a mask in West Bengal? Release the data of poll-bound states and the rest of the states separately." He also said that big corporate companies are looting the farmers and expressed hope that government will listen to their demands.
