Delhi NGO ensures dignified cremation of Covid victims

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal (SBSSD), a non-profit organisation has been working tirelessly around the clock to ensure the cremation of dead Covid patients in a dignified manner. The organisation mostly cremates the bodies of the destitute, people whose family members refuse to cremate them, or those deceased patients whose whole family is in quarantine. With the increasing number of deaths, it becomes increasingly difficult to cremate them in a dignified manner, releasing this the Seva Dal took this task upon itself. Jitender Singh Shunty, founder of Dal said that they cremate over 50 bodies on a daily basis. He also said that the Seva Dal makes sure of cremating the dead in a respectful manner.
