Coronavirus: Drone being used to spray disinfectants in Ahmedabad

As the novel coronavirus is spreading rapidly across the country, the administration has started using drones to sanitise public places with disinfectants. The Ahmedabad municipal corporation's fire brigade has developed a drone to spray disinfectants in different parts of the city. The municipal corporation has planned to spray the disinfectants in the Cluster Quarantine areas through a drone. The drone, weighing 25 kg, has the capacity to carry 10 litres of disinfectant and can cover a distance of two kilometres.
