As citizens are grappling with the second wave of coronavirus in the country, tribal hamlets in Bihar's Munger district have taken their own steps to ensure the safety of their communities from the deadly virus. The tribals in Ubhivanvarsha village have made personal protective equipment such as masks from leaves. The people in this region have been proactive in taking precautionary measures at a time when governments are struggling to reach out to them. They can not afford to purchase masks and sanitisers so they have taken it upon themselves to combat the virus.
