Viral Video: College student ties mangal sutra to schoolgirl at bus stand in Tamil Nadu

A video of a student tying a 'thali' (mangal sutra) to a schoolgirl went viral on social media. The video shows a schoolgirl in uniform sitting at a bus stop near the Gandhi statue at Chidambaram in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore along with a college student. The girl is studying in Class 12 in a government school and the boy is studying in a private polytechnic college. The boy takes the thali from his pocket and ties it around her neck. One of their friends had recorded the video.
