Kolkata: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday had lunch at the house of a BJP worker of Matua community in New Town in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district. It was a vegetarian platter of Bengali delicacies, served on a plate with a banana leaf on it. Sitting on the floor of Naveen Biswas's house, Shah had rice, roti, cholar dal (chana dal), moong dal, paneer. Shah, who is on a two-day tour to the state, arrived in New Town this morning to take stock of the party's organisation in the district.
