8 houses gutted in massive fire mishap in Aizawl

As many as eight houses were gutted in a massive fire at Maubawk locality of Mizoranm's Aizawl on the wee hours of Saturday. However, no casualty in the incident has been reported so far. The eyewitnesses said that the fire initially broke out from a nearby chicken shop and later led to an LPG cylinder blast. The livestock of at least 15 families gutted. Meanwhile, state Information and Public Relations Minister Pu Lalruatkima took stock of the situation and tried to ascertain the extent of losses incurred in the incident.
