5 Kg onions, couple receives precious gift for their wedding

Thiruvallur (Tamil Nadu): A couple in Thiruvallur received 5 Kg onion wrapped in a bouquet as a wedding gift. Sheeba Suvitha, a nurse working in Chennai married Senthil Kumar, an engineer from Arani. The couple received the prankish gift from Sheeba's friends. As onion price soared around Rs 100 per Kg across the country, the couple was symbolically blessed with such a precious gift from their friends. The pictures of the event were uploaded to social media and went viral on web platforms.
