Women Protest against CAA across Assam

Women protesters across Assam have joined the demonstration against Citizenship Amendment Act on Saturday to condemn its enactment as they believe the Act to be a violation against what the Assamese fought for over all these years. Women gathered in large number in every district of Assam including Guwahati, Hajo, Lakhimpur and Amguri to voice against the Act.  Women from different walks of life, including artists, sat for the protests in the state held today.
