Why should I pay fine? Student drops names, threatens police

Udupi: A young man named Anurag Reddy, an MBBS student from Manipal University, who was drunk and driving a car, was stopped by the police at Kalsanka Junction. The breath analyser recorded 193. When police tried to levy the fine, he retorted that he would pay just Rs 3000. The traffic police on duty seized his car and booked him for drunken driving and speeding. A case has been registered at the Udupi Traffic Police Station.
