Watch: Rat snake taped while browsing a nestling of Baya weaver

In a breathtaking moment, a rat snake was filmed while swallowing a nestling from the nest of a Baya weaver. The moment was captured by Wildlife photographer Venugopal somewhere at Bengaluru- Mysuru Highway on Sunday. In the video, the reptile can be seen entering the nest of Baya weaver. However, raptors started chirping to alert other fellows living next to the nest attacked by the serpent. Unfortunately, the small spawns were not able to fly and it became the prey of the Rat snake. Within a minute, the white snake was seen taking an exit of the nest with a nestling in the mouth.
