Watch: 3 tiger cubs, bear found dead in Maharashtra

Three tiger cubs and a bear were found dead in three different locations of Bhandara district in Maharashtra on Wednesday. Two of these three tiger cubs were found dead near a siphon well in Garada village. Officials from the forest department said prima facie, it appeared that these cubs died due to drowning. Another cub was found dead in Pauni area. A couple of days ago, a tigress had left behind one of its cubs in Pauni forest. A team from the forest department fed it. However, before the tigress could return, the cub was dead. The reason for its death is not known. In another incident, the body of a male bear was found at Davdipar Round under Bhandara forest department. Investigations are underway.
