Telangana village gets inundated after Kondapochamma Sagar canal project breaches

Siddipet (Telangana): Sivaru Venkatapur village in Markoook Mandal of Telangana's Siddipet district was flooded on Monday morning following a breach in the Kondapochamma Sagar canal project. Officials in the irrigation department immediately swung into action and are trying to fix the breach. The canal is being constructed to divert Godavari water from Mallanna Sagar surge pool to Kondapochamma project.
