Students climb on mobile tower demanding college union election in Dehradun

Students organisation of DAV College in Dehradun staged a protest outside the college gate and blocked Karanpur and College Road. The demonstrators were demanding student union elections. Two students named Manmohan Singh Rawat and Akim Ahmed of Satyam Shivam Students' Union climbed on the mobile tower to intensify the protest. The demonstration has also forced the college to suspend classes. Protesting students slammed the government saying that when political parties conduct rallies for the upcoming assembly polls then corona is not spreading, but at the time of student union elections, Covid is spreading
