Social distancing goes for a toss in AP's Kurnool; villagers play with cow dung

At a time when the country has reported over two lakh cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, flouting all social distancing norms, the entire village of Kurnool's Kairuppala got divided into two camps and hurled cow dung cakes at each other. The ritual called 'Pidakal War', was celebrated on the next day of Ugadi - the New Year's Day for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
