Sidhu has 'no time' to attend farm protest rally, says Harish Rawat

With the introduction of farm bills in Lok Sabha, it brings hope in the Congress as the party has not accumulated the media as well as the public attention in local and national politics for a long time since the Lok Sabha election last year. For the last two days, the grand old party started rallies in different parts of Haryana and Punjab in support of farmers with party leader Rahul Gandhi leading the protest. But, the question still arises in Punjab as former Cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu stayed away from the party programme for the second consecutive day. However, in an interview with ETV Bharat, AICC General Secretary in-charge Harish Rawat cited 'lack of time' as the reason behind his absence.
