Seven shops gutted in fire in Tirumala, one dead

One person lost his life after a fire engulfed seven shops near Bedi Anjaneya Swami temple on Tirumala hill. Fire officials cited an electrical short circuit as a reason for such a massive fire. Tirumala Station Fire Officer Venkata Ramana Reddy said that the fire station received information by 6.50 am and firefighters doused the fire fully by 7.30 am.
