Sanjay Ruat backs Maharashtra Home Minister, says "Deshmukh will not resign"

A day after former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh wrote to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray alleging that Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had indulged in "malpractices", Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Monday dismissed the charges and said that the current the Home Minister 'will not resign'. Further, he questioned the timing of the accusations made by the former Mumbai commissioner of police and stated that he has been serving the police department for the last 35 years and should behave like a 'responsible officer' before making such allegations against a serving Home Minister.
