Ramoji Rao remembers SPB: 'A brother who embraced me with deep affection'

Ramoji Rao, Chairman of Ramoji Group Institutions expressed grief at the demise of legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam on Friday, and offered condolences to the family of the late singer. He also shared a video speaking in Telugu, where he said: "He was not just a legendary singer, but a close companion to me. He sang almost for five-decade in over 16 languages. His songs will continue to win hearts for more than 100 years. He was a great soul and a great singer. And good times spent with him leaves us in tears.. We fall short of words in this hour of grief. Balu... this is our tearful homage to you." The Padma Bhushan award-winning singer breathed his last in Chennai on Friday at the age of 74.
