Railway staff develops robot to assist COVID healthcare workers

Senior divisional mechanical engineer and staff of the diesel loco shed at Waltair in Visakhapatnam develop a robot to assist medical staff working in COVID wards in Bhubaneswar. The robot can be remotely navigated and used for delivering food and medicines to COVID patients. It also has additional features like thermal scanner, sanitiser dispenser and drawers to hold medical supplies.
