Punjab Police tackles stray cattle menace

Stray cattle menace seems to be affecting the smooth flow of the traffic in the Bathinda city creating trouble and danger for the commuters. To curb the increasing number of road accidents in city Punjab police will tackle stray cattle menace in city. In a meeting held by district officials, it has been decided that policemen will catch stray cattle and shift them to cow shelters in their respective areas. Stray cattle roaming around freely have become a serious problem. The situation turns all the more worse at night when it becomes difficult for the drivers to spot the stray animals due to darkness.
