Police foil bid to wave black flags at Vice-President in Odisha

During Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu’s visit to Utkal University in Bhubaneswar for its 50th convocation ceremony, four people tried to wave black flags at him. According to police, four individuals tried to wave black flags in protest against awarding honorary D.Litt. degree to Bijay Kumar Sahu, Advisor of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan and Founder of Sai International School. However, police personnel at the spot thwarted the protesters’ bid and later detained them.
