Over 9000 bottles of liquor found in water tank in AP

Police in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday seized a cache of 9,100 bottles of liquor stored in a water tank which were being illegally transported from Telangana. The seizure was made in Guntur district when the accused were trying to cross the state border. Police have arrested six persons. According to Guntur rural SP Vishal Ginni, the arrest was made after a tip-off from a local source on social media. He said that the market value of the seized liquor is approx Rs 21 lakhs.
