Many violate week-long lockdown in Chennai

Chennai: Though the Tamil Nadu government announced a complete lock-down without relaxations starting from Monday, many people were seen outside commuting. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday announced a complete lockdown exempting pharmacies, milk, drinking water and newspapers. Vegetables and fruits to be provided at doorsteps. Against the lockdown rules, there were many on the roads in Chennai on Monday. Police registered cases against them and the vehicles were seized.
