Devotees walk on 'fire' at Karnataka temple fair

Thousands of devotees participated in the 'Agni Kunda' ceremony which was held as part of the Shri Banashankari Devi fair at Muddebihala in Karnataka's Vijayapura district. Devotees believe walking barefoot on burning embers in the premises of the temple, would earn them the blessings of the deity.
