Cyclone Nisarga: A look at strong winds, high tides hitting Marine Drive, Ratnagiri

Maharashtra: As Cyclone Nisarga makes landfall near Alibaug in Maharashtra with strong wind speed of 120-140 kmph, here is a quick look at Marine Drive and Ratnagiri areas of the state being hit by the strong winds and high tides. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli have been put on high alert as some parts of these two states and the union territories fall on the path of the cyclone that developed over a low-pressure area over the Arabian Sea.
