In the wake of the increasing infection rate of Coronavirus, continuous efforts are being made by the state governments and administrations to prevent it. After taking a heavy toll on human life, the Coronavirus has infected wild animals. After eight Asiatic lions at the Hyderabad zoo tested positive for Covid-19, Madhya Pradesh Minister and Rewa in charge, Ramkhelawan Patel ordered wildlife officials of all national parks, sanctuaries and national zoological parks in the state to be alert.
